This App features sections on every major formalized logical fallacy such as Red Herring, Straw Man, Ignoratio Elenchi, and many more. Other features include an overview of basic terminology in logic, real-life examples of fallacious reasoning, as well as a study in the differences between deduction, induction, validity, soundness and other necessary components for the study of fallacious reasoning.

Finally, you will be given the opportunity to be tested on your knowledge of the material through flash cards and multiple choice tests designed to train you to be a flawless debater.

Once completed, this App will enable you to quickly identify, assess, and respond to common misconceptions and faulty reasoning within an argument as well as equip you with the ability to avoid these pitfalls when constructing your own arguments.

Logical Fallacies App is Quite Helpful
Thanks for this app and rich content, format, audio, etc. At first I thought, hey...can you turn off the audio...but then remembered the volume control on my iPhone. Missing middle? LOL. Thanks again!!! Great cure to mere meme musing :-)
Very Helpful App
This app is great for anyone who wants to improve their ability to communicate and debate effectively. Its especially useful for people studying law, philosophy, theology, etc., but it can be utilized by anyone who wishes to aid in the ability to get their point across. As an engineering student, Im gonna get the most use out of this when explaining design decisions and when discussions heat up with friends at the bar.
Superior to competing apps...Inferior to competing websites
This app is FULL of inexcusable spelling errors and clumsy phrasing which makes me question the time the author put into the logic of his text (which is really the most important part of the apps content). The author should make use of colored text to precisely identify parts of arguments since it can be hard to tell exactly where a phrase of interest begins and ends.
Love this app
Great for help arguing at the bar!!
